Turkish Side Declares Cyprus-Egypt Gas Agreement Invalid
The Turkish-Cypriot regime challenged the agreement signed on March 30, 2026 between the Republic of Cyprus and Egypt on cooperation in natural gas extraction and export from the Cypriot Exclusive Economic Zone in a letter to the United Nations. Turkey filed the letter on behalf of Turkish Cypriots and disputes the validity of the agreement.
