Turn of Events in Demosthenes Murder Trial
The trial into the mafia killing of Stavros Demosthenes before the Permanent Court of Assize in Limassol has taken a turn. The proceedings are now being led by Attorney General Andreas Chatzikyriakou, while one of the defendants has been offered a withdrawal of prosecution and another has confessed to vehicle theft. The murder took place on October 17, 2025 in Limassol.
