Two Forest Fires Caused by Lightning Strike Brought Under Control
Two forest fires broke out on Friday following lightning strikes in the Karvounas and Evrychou areas and were quickly brought under control. The first fire in Karvounas began at 10:25 a.m. and was already under control by 10:40 a.m. The forest fires were documented by the Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment.
