Uganda Discharges Last Ebola Patient, Countdown to Virus-Free Status Begins
Uganda has discharged its last remaining Ebola patient, marking the beginning of a 42-day period after which the country can be declared virus-free. Uganda confirmed a total of 20 cases of the rare Bundibugyo strain of Ebola virus since mid-May.
