UN Scandal: Separatist Flag at DiCarlo Meeting
The United Nations had to respond quickly after UN Deputy Secretary-General Rosemary DiCarlo allowed the flag of the separatist entity to be displayed on the table during a meeting with occupation leader Tufan Erhurman in Antalya. Nicosia protested sharply through several diplomatic démarches, and the UN attempted to limit the diplomatic damage.
