UN Secretary-General concerned about Turkish advances in Pyla buffer zone
UN Secretary-General António Guterres expressed deep concern in his report on the situation of the UN peacekeeping force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) about advances by Turkish and Turkish-Cypriot forces into the buffer zone near Pyla close to Larnaca. This represents a new development in the ongoing buffer zone crisis.
