Uncovered Checks in Cyprus Decline by Half
In July 2026, the number of uncovered checks in Cyprus fell by approximately half compared to the same month in the previous year, according to the Central Bank of Cyprus. Sixteen uncovered checks totaling €40,799 were issued, compared to 30 checks worth €42,715 in July 2025.
