Underwater Cable Connects Cyprus and Lebanon for Energy Export
A planned underwater power cable between Cyprus and Lebanon is intended to enable the island to export energy from renewable sources that is currently being wasted. Former Energy Minister George Papanastasiou stated that official discussions on the project have already begun. The project could bring Cyprus's surplus solar energy to Lebanon.
