Unemployment in Cyprus Rises by 5.8 Percent
The number of registered unemployed in Cyprus increased by 5.8 percent in July, with 11,728 persons registered at labor offices. Growth is driven mainly by the sectors of administrative and support services, accommodation and food service, and public administration and education. Statistics authority Cystat reports a concerning trend deterioration.
