Unions Warn of Poverty Risk from Pension Reform
Following a four-and-a-half-hour government consultation, Cypriot unions warn that the planned pension reform could push some pensioners below the poverty line (currently 1,018 euros). PEO chairwoman Sotiroula Charalambous criticizes the reform plans as socially inadequate.
