University of Cyprus: Law changed for Senate decisions
Parliament passed legislation to amend the University Law to enable Senate meetings and decision-making despite problems with student elections. The change became necessary because chaos during student elections rendered the Senate body unable to act, and there was a risk that diplomas would not be approved in June.
