American bourbon distilleries such as Heaven Hill Brands are cutting back production as global whiskey demand weakens. Paradoxically, the company behind well-known brands such as Evan Williams nonetheless invested 200 million dollars in a new distillery with a capacity of 155,000 barrels in 2025, while the market faces difficult conditions.
