US fighter jet fires on Iranian oil tanker in Gulf of Oman
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that an American F-18 fighter jet fired on the Iranian oil tanker Hasna while it was transiting international waters in the Gulf of Oman. U.S. forces issued multiple warnings and accused the vessel of violating the American embargo. After the crew refused to heed the warnings, the gunfire was opened.
