US Policewoman Convicted of Abuse of a Minor
A police officer from Ohio was convicted on two counts of dereliction of duty for allowing an adult to strike a 15-year-old in handcuffs with a belt while the child was under her supervision. The accused officer Jamie Patterson wept in court and claimed she had acted with good intentions.
