Vacant Properties in Cyprus City Centers: Incentives Demanded
In the centers of Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca, vacant plots and dilapidated buildings from the 1980s characterize the cityscape. The article addresses the problem of land lying fallow for decades and neglected structures that have existed since the 1974 invasion, and points to the need for incentive mechanisms to improve this situation.
