Vaccination program against foot-and-mouth disease launched for 320,000 pigs
Veterinary authorities distributed the first vaccines against foot-and-mouth disease to private veterinarians, who will begin vaccinating pig herds. The program aims to build immunity against the virus and limit its spread in order to restore Cyprus's status as a foot-and-mouth disease-free country.
