Van with criminal record caught smuggling from occupied areas
A van with Turkish Cypriot license plates that had illegally entered the free areas from the occupied areas with smuggled cigarettes was stopped by MMAD after an hour-and-a-half chase. The vehicle had previously been involved in smuggling activities. The arrested individuals will appear in court tomorrow and the vehicle will be examined at police headquarters.
