Vasilikos LNG Project: Can Cyprus Still Achieve Its Goals?
An analytical article examines the Vasilikos LNG import project, approved in 2019, and questions whether it can still fulfill its original objectives. At that time, the project promised electricity price reductions, lower emissions, improved energy security and diversification of the energy mix, as well as support for EU environmental regulations and electricity market liberalization.
