Vehicle Fires Cause Wildfires in Cyprus
Two separate vehicle fires led to wildfires at different locations in Cyprus. In Larnaca, a fire broke out in a moving car and spread to dry grass and brush; the driver was able to reach safety in time. In Menoyia, a wildfire caused by a car was brought under control within 20 minutes.
