Veterinary Office Intensifies Easter Market Controls
The Cyprus Veterinary Service will conduct intensive inspections in slaughterhouses, butcher shops, and retail establishments starting Saturday to prepare for the Easter holidays. This is announced by Sotiria Georgiadou, spokesperson for the Veterinary Service. The controls are intended to ensure that operators continue to maintain hygiene standards while foot-and-mouth disease cases stabilize.
