Via Carpatia: Europe's New 3000-km Transport Corridor
The Via Carpatia, an approximately 3000-kilometer international transport corridor, is intended to connect the Baltic region with Southeast Europe. The route runs from Klaipėda in Lithuania through Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria with Thessaloniki as the southern endpoint. The project represents one of Europe's largest cross-border road infrastructure undertakings.
