Victim of 1964 violence buried after 62 years
Resat Ahmet, one of four men killed in 1964 during a taxi attack during intercommunal unrest in Larnaca, was buried. His remains were found by the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) during excavations in the Larnaca district. The funeral took place after more than six decades and is part of the ongoing process of identifying missing persons from this conflict.
