Vietnamese Woman with 32,000 Euros Illegally in Country - Arrested
A Vietnamese woman was arrested and detained for illegal residence. A search revealed that she was carrying €32,000 in cash and gold jewelry. As she could not provide sufficient explanation for the origin of her assets, she will be brought before court. The woman had been in Cyprus since 2017 and had resided illegally for five years.
