Wages rise in Cyprus, living costs offset increases
In the second quarter of 2026, wages in Cyprus rose, yet living costs remain high. According to preliminary data from the Statistical Office, wages and hourly wages increased by 3.9% year-on-year, without leading to any noticeable improvement in the quality of life for workers.
