Waiting times for cancer treatments in Cyprus shortened
The General Health System (GHS) has incorporated approximately 90 cancer treatments and treatment combinations into its standard protocols. This means patients no longer have to go through the time-consuming individual case procedure, which had caused delays for cancer patients and their physicians. The measure is a response to recommendations from the Cypriot Society of Oncology.
