War Participant Remembers 70 Years After EOKA Freedom Struggle
Seventy years after the execution of EOKA freedom fighters Michalis Koutsofta and Andreas Panagidie on September 21, 1956 by British colonial authorities, a fellow combatant recalls their sacrifice. Stelios Mavromatis from occupied Larnaca was also executed. The survivor preserves the memory of these heroes of the Cypriot independence movement.
