West Nile Virus: Expert sees no widespread outbreak in Cyprus
According to microbiologist Prof. Dr. Petros Karagiannis, there is currently no widespread outbreak of West Nile Virus in Cyprus. He recommends that citizens take simple but effective protective measures. The professor points out that people over 60 years old and those with underlying medical conditions are particularly at risk.
