Western Canada Devastated by Wildfires – 90 Active Fire Sites
Western Canada is experiencing one of the worst fire periods in its history with 90 active fire sites and 25 evacuation orders. Nearly 34,000 lightning strikes recorded in the previous week triggered dozens of new fires, as confirmed by Prime Minister Mark Carney.
