Wildfire destroys 66,600 stremma in Attica and Boeotia
A massive wildfire in the Greek regions of Attica and Boeotia reached the summit of Mount Kithaeron and left widespread devastation in its wake. Thousands of hectares of pristine pine forests were destroyed, while another fire in the Phocis region threatened settlements and villages.
