Wildlife Populations in Cyprus Recovering Significantly
The Cypriot Hunting and Wildlife Authority reports a significant recovery of partridge and hare populations, which is particularly encouraging as both species had been declining in previous years. The partridge population has increased by 25 percent, while the hare population has also grown. At the same time, an explosive growth of the fox population is being recorded.
