Work in Extreme Heat Becomes a European Risk
According to the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, one in five employees in the EU are exposed to extreme temperatures in the workplace. Extreme heat is thus among the rapidly growing occupational risks related to climate change. This phenomenon now affects all Europeans and requires enhanced protective measures.
