Writer Vasos Ftochopoulos Deceased
Writer, director, and publisher Vasos Ftochopoulos, known as owner of the Aegeon Taverne in Nicosia—a meeting place for artists and intellectuals—has passed away at the age of 76. Born in Karpasia in 1950, Ftochopoulos was also associated with Aegeon Publications and shaped the cultural life of the island.
