Yemen Conflict Displaces Over 100,000 People
The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) reports that over 100,000 people have been internally displaced by the renewed Yemen conflict, while thousands more have fled by boat to Djibouti. The UNHCR identifies lack of humanitarian access as a central challenge, hampered by insecurity, damaged infrastructure, and movement restrictions. The conflict between Iran-aligned Houthis and other actors intensifies the humanitarian crisis in the region.
