Young Cypriots Live Longer with Parents – Affordability is the Reason
Despite having one of the higher employment rates for young people in the EU, Cypriot youth leave their parents' home later than the European average. Eurostat data shows that financial reasons are causing this – while many young Cypriots have jobs, they cannot afford independent housing.
