Zero-tolerance alcohol laws for novice drivers introduced in parliament
A DIKO member of parliament has submitted four draft laws that would introduce zero tolerance for driving under the influence for novice drivers and drivers with up to three years of driving experience. Violations could be punished with fines up to 500 euros, and upon conviction, penalties include fines up to 10,000 euros and up to two years imprisonment.
